Get to know Legacy
Legacy Lowenberg is a singer/songwriter from the small town of Oologah, Oklahoma, whose connection to music started at just three years old. Her love of music began with songs she grew up listening to, eventually leading her to discover her own voice as a songwriter.
After graduating high school, she began writing songs of her own, drawing from her personal experiences and a difficult childhood. In December 2023, she officially began her professional music career, turning the stories and emotions that shaped her life into music she could share with others.
Her songwriting is deeply personal and honest, touching on the struggles she has faced, the experiences that have shaped her, and the emotions that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.
In 2025, she released her debut album, When I Learned I Couldn’t Fly, a deeply personal reflection on her childhood told through the perspective of the woman she has become. The album revisits memories, emotions, and experiences from a younger version of herself, while allowing her adult self to look back with a deeper understanding of what she lived through. Rather then just simply retelling her past, the album explores what it means to grow up, look back, and make sense of the things that once felt impossible to understand.
When I Learned I Couldn’t Fly is only the beginning. The album offers a glimpse into the stories she has carried with her, but it only scratches the surface of what she has yet to share. With more music and more stories still to come, Legacy is continuing to grow as an artist and discover where her music can take her.
